This 1hp 3-wire 4" Submersible Control Box is offered at buypumpswholesale.com to be used with submersible motors found on this site with matching hp, voltage, phase, and wire configurations. Control boxes use a starting capacitor to start the motor, then a relay transfers the current to the running windings of the motor once the motor is up to speed. Control boxes contain overload protection for the motor as well.
